Planning out the layout order of details based on size. The idea is to have big details in the back to help close in the level, and smaller objects with more detail that are closer to the player.

Sketching more random inspirations from documentaries.

The Chase Scene is where the player must run from the predator bird. I was planning out how the player can climb on the wall and drop down on a platform while the bird detects the wall and instead goes around it to continue chasing the player. I made an avoidance waypoint for the bird to fly to when it avoids the wall. Also, the bird can detect when the player is landing, giving the player enough time to recover and continue running.
